Preparation
Are you preparing?

Many people pray for the promise.
Few prepare for it.
We pray for marriage.
But are we preparing to be a godly spouse?
We pray for promotion.
But are we preparing for greater responsibility?
We pray for ministry.
But are we preparing to serve?
We pray for opportunities.
But are we preparing when nobody is watching?
Preparation is often the hidden season between the promise and the fulfillment.
The season where God develops character before responsibility.
Wisdom before influence.
Stewardship before increase.
Scripture says:
"The plans of the diligent certainly lead to advantage, but everyone who is in a hurry certainly comes to poverty."
— Proverbs 21:5 NASB
God is interested in us becoming who we need to be before He takes us there.
David was anointed king long before he sat on the throne.
Joseph received the dream long before he entered the palace.
The disciples were chosen long before they were sent.
Preparation often happens in private.
In the unseen moments.
The truth is that many people want to reach the goal without preparation.
The harvest without the sowing.
The blessing without stewardship.
Preparation says:
"I believe God enough to get ready before I see it."
Noah prepared before the rain.
Joseph prepared before the famine.
The wise virgins prepared before the bridegroom arrived.
Preparation is faith in action.
What are you doing today that reflects what you are believing God for tomorrow?
Because when opportunity arrives, preparation determines whether we are ready.
Your destiny is coming.
The question is:
Will you be prepared when it arrives?
