Tomorrow
Have you ever gone to bed believing tomorrow could be the day?

The day the prayer is answered.
The day the door opens.
The day the promise arrives.
The day everything changes.
Then tomorrow comes.
You wake up hopeful.
Expectant.
Listening.
Watching.
Waiting.
And by the end of the day, nothing appears different.
The promise remains a promise.
The prayer remains unanswered.
The waiting continues.
This week I have found myself in this place.
God has been near.
His voice has been clear.
His peace has been tangible.
His companionship has been undeniable.
Yet there is a tension that exists when you know God has promised something and the appointed time has not yet arrived.
You wake up wondering:
Maybe today.
You go through your day thinking:
Maybe today.
You lay your head down at night realizing:
Not today.
There is a sadness in that moment.
Because your heart longs for what He has shown you.
Scripture says:
"For the vision is yet for the appointed time;
It hurries toward the goal and it will not fail.
Though it delays, wait for it;
For it will certainly come, it will not delay."
— Habakkuk 2:3 NASB
The waiting room of God is a unique place.
It teaches trust.
It teaches dependence.
It teaches surrender.
It teaches us to love Christ as much as the promise.
And that is where I find myself today.
Still listening.
Still trusting.
Still obeying.
Still walking with Him.
Still waiting.
Perhaps tomorrow will be the day.
